Pochoir Stencil/ Brush of dancers watching a Squirrel. Art Deco with period wooden frame measuring 12 1/4 x 15 1/2. Some paint loss on frame, overall good condition. Signed but couldn't determine artist.
Robert Polack, Pochoir/ gouache. 1920's-1930's. This print addresses the theme of the aristocratic. Depicting the bourgeois, and the lower class’s treatment, in kicking of the pants in a comic cartoonist illustration of two men one kicking the other. A depiction of the wealthy mistreating the poor.
Signed by the noted French illustration artist Robert Polack this work is a vivid and colorfully animated caricature. Polack is known for his French book illustrations during the 2nd quarter of the 20th century. wooden frame is 9 1/2 x 11 1/2. Good condition.
