1940s Fashion Watercolor Art By Peggy Schillander

1940s fashion watercolor art by Peggy Schillander Cook ( 1921-1999). Both are watercolor on light weight cardboard. These works we’re done in the early 1940s while she was a student at the fashion Academy for custom design and fashion illustration in New York. The one with only the head measures approximately 14“ x 11“, it is pencil sign, has damage at all corners, and has staining, and age toning. The black-and-white watercolor measures 15 x 10“, it is on lightweight cardboard, has staining, swelling, moisture damage at bottom. It is unsigned.
