Vintage, Original Murphy Doll 1983 , 24" Soft Sculpture Doll, Fancy Older Woman

Vintage soft sculpture character doll of an Older Grandma in her Sunday best outfit. Limited edition doll stands 24 inches tall and was hand made by two artists from the Murphy Doll Company in 1983; Arlette Murphy Engel sculpted and hand painted her nylon face with fine detail and facial expression. She has blue eyes, eyelashes, soft pink lips, and white curly hair peeking out of her burgundy felt hat. Beverly Mills is responsible for the handmade clothing . She wears a long burgundy gown with lace and pearl trim, cream bloomers and black velvet shoe/boots. (see photos for small boot damage to one boot and snag on dress) The doll has a tag sewn into her clothing which reads as follows: An Original Murphy Doll 1983 No.2. It is signed by the two artists, Arlette &and Beverly.
