Hula Skirt Made Of Parachute Strings In WW II

Item was donated by the sons of PFC Ed McGarvey, a member of the Army Air Corps who served in the South Pacific in World War II. It was made of parachute strings and shows the incredible patience this young military man had to complete the hula skirt. It has a 26 inch waist and 32 inch length and moves with the dancer like a regular hula skirt. There are some stains on the skirt.
