Marme is from Alexander-kins collection of Little Women dolls. This doll represents Marme, the mother of the little women. She has brown hair, a red dress and a white overlay skirt. This doll, like all Madame Alexander dolls is considered to be a favorite among collectors. They are known for being of the highest quality. The body and clothing are beautifully designed and executed. Each doll is articulated (moveable limbs) and has open and close eyes. Madame Alexander has been recognized for her talent by the Smithsonian Institute, Congressional Club Doll Museum and countless other museums.
