Boriana Song (Beijing / Paris) Diptych - Mixed Media On Rice Paper. Two large 35" x 69"h panels framed together. Each piece has her red stamp. Purchased at a gallery in Beijing (1988).

Boriana Song come from a very famous Chinese/Bulgarian family. Her mother, Madame Song (1937-2006), helped bring European fashion to China and started the famed restaurant, Maxime, in Beijing with Pierre Cardin. Her father Maryn Varbanov (1932-1989) was a famous tapestry artist and in 1987, was invited to establish a tapestry school at Zheijang Academy of Fine Art in Hangzhou.

Measurements: 35" x 69" (each piece) / 82" x 78" (framed).
