As a result, from the mid 1970's to early 1990's, Louis Vuitton partnered with a US luggage company to create French Company Louis Vuitton bags. These bags were made and sold in the US. Vintage LOUIS VUITTON Monogram small Bucket Bag, crafted in monogram canvas with caramel colored cowhide leather trim and handles. The interior of the bag is a brown fabric with a zip pocket and a chain with a removable pouch. Louis Vuitton French Company tag inside. The French Company is a US luggage maker. Back in 1970's, Louis Vuitton was really popular in the United States. All their factories had always been in France, but LV simply could not keep up with tits growing market in the US. For this reason. during a period from around 1976 through 1991, The French Company manufactured bags under a special license from Louis Vuitton .
