Large Neoclassical Terracotta Vase Hand Decorated By Tellatin, Nove

Large amphora with a pair of reeded handles. The vase is decorated in the round with a black background and a floral pattern of flowers and leaves made by hand, the same decoration is finished in the pure gold edging as well as the handles, mouth and base. In the background there is the signature of the author Tellatin.

Forerunner of the Tellatin family with Vicenza-based crafts from Bassano that develop mainly after the 1950s. They specialize in artistic ceramics such as: bowls, bowls, dishes, trays, salad bowls, stoups, candle holders, boxes, teapots, coffee pots, biscuits, jugs and other articles.
