STATEMENT Sterling, 14K, Amethyst & Ruby Ring

"Statement" is an understatement with this ring -- it's brushed sterling silver, with a 14K gold band encircling a buff top cabochon amethyst and dotted with faceted rubies.
And it's big...measuring from the top it's: 3/4" front to back, and 1" from side to side, and sits 1/2" above the finger. The shank tapers to 1/4" wide. (see photo)
The size itself is only a 6, but it could be resized by 1/2 to 3/4
There are NO marks, which is odd, but it's guaranteed Sterling and 14K gold, with genuine rubies and amethyst.
If I remember correctly, the ring may have either been a one-off design, or a custom piece that just didn't get marked. I bought it from a 3-generation jeweler here in Connecticut and if I can get some other information on it, I will.
