Vintage Designer Soft Monogram 55 Sirius Luggage #1 (rL-232)

Date code is 8909 V.I.Was made in 1987 in France.Came from an estate (original owner) and will be posting more vintage suitcases. I do have another 55, 60 and 70.This is an authentic LV Monogram Sirius 55. This stylish soft suitcase is crafted of the monogram on toile canvas. The bag features reinforced vachetta leather top handles with brass links and other leather trim. A 3/4 wrap around zipper opens to an ivory fabric lined interior with a wide pocket and straps. This is an excellent travel companion for travel on the go with the luxury and style of this designer.

CONDITION:This Sirius 55 is in overall good pre-owned condition. The exterior monogram canvas is clean and has no noticeable marks. The edges show very some light marks from previous use. The leather straps down the case as well as the corners, and edges do have marks ( the typical scuff marks ) from previous use. Leather is still good underneath and can be professionally cleaned.It does have a nice patina to it.Leather handles have light marks( for the era, not bad at all). Includes leather luggage tag with very slight markings.The zipper works, but around the corners it could use some wd40, since it has been sitting and stuffed since 2001. The interior lining is super clean and shows only 1 small discoloration and almost none to very minimal signs of previous use.The back inside lining is starting to come away from the case, will need a little gluing to hold in place, you can see somewhat by the last photo.Still a great amount of life to this item, a great addition to any collection.

No odors, came from a smoke and pet free home, from family of original owner, who had 4 suitcases and 4 garment bags as well as other travel goodies from this estate.According to the family this case we only used 3 times.Which the inside shows almost be wear.Leather has the nice patina orange color to it!Was originally purchased at the stand alone designer Store in Manhasset Miracle mile on Long Island, NY.This is a must for the Vintage Lovers!Please feel free to ask any questions.
