Listed American Artist George F. Kaumeyer (1856-1951) Antique Landscape Painting

Up for sale is a stunning original large antique 19 century oil painting on canvas depicting an Autumnal landscape with rising sun over a forest brook.

Presented in an antique gold carved frame. Frame is heavy (27 lb).

Signed in the lower left corner by Listed American Artist George F. Kaumeyer (1856-1951)

Dimensions: Sight: 40.5" x 31", Frame: 30.5" x 20.5"

Condition: The painting is in good antique condition. The antique frame has some cracks, scuffs, scratches, repaired pieces.

George Frederick Kaumeyer (1856-1951) was born in Michigan on November 21, 1856. By the late 1920s, he had settled in Los Angeles. He died there on March 25, 1951. Member: Painters & Sculptors of Los Angeles. Exhibited: California State Fair, 1930; Artists Fiesta (Los Angeles), 1931; Lowe Galleries (Los Angeles), 1932; Gardena (CA) High School, 1933.
