The art of gourd carving has been practiced in Peru for more than 4,000 years. The artists used the gourds, to tell both communal and personal stories. This is a small Peruvian gourd which depicts the harvest time. The story shows the harvesting of products, which is transformed into preparing the products, and then celebrating by dancing. To align the top look for the straight edge notch. A gift for anyone that has everything.
