Item Description: Charles Pfister for KNOLL Design - Volo Leather Lounge Chair - FEATURED DESIGNER!!
Seat and back cushions are fully upholstered. Double needled topstitching on leather upholstery and on thin solid textiles. Ferry Volo Leather. Cushions are foam core with polyester fiber wrap for a tight and tailored aesthetic. Frame is constructed in sections with a combination plywood/hardwood seat and back.
About the Designer: After earning a B.A. in ARchitecture from the University of California, Charles Pfister worked as an interior designer at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill for 15 years. It was during this period that he created the Pfister Lounge Collection for Knoll, with prodiction beginning in 1971.
