KING EDWARD VIII CORONATION PORCELAIN PLATE & MUG 1937

Here is a King Edward VIII Coronation porcelain plate & mug circa 1936-37. Both are in very good condition with no cracks or chips. Very well taken care of. The plate feature a portrait of King Edward in profile along with member nations represented along the perimeter of the plate. Nice colors. The plate has a diameter of 10 5/8" and was made by Cauldon China of England. the mug features the date of Coronation along with other decorations. The mug measures 3 1/4" tall and 4 1/4" wide including the handle. Edward went on to abdicate the throne.
