Up for auction is this late Meiji period Japanese bronze Ikebana flower arranging vase on stand. This comes in 2 pieces as the vase is removable from the stand. The stand features dragons and birds with tongues or snakes coming out of their beaks to form the tripod base. The vase has a nice patina. One leg was repaired at some point in its history (see pictures). Otherwise in good condition. The handles on the sides are loose. Don't know if they were made that way or not. The vase measures 9 3/8" tall and the round top has a diameter of 11 3/4". It is unsigned. this would be perfect for growing an orchid.
Notes: Good condition with a repair.
