1953 Singer Featherweight Sewing Machine "As Is" For Parts, Restoration

As you can see, this is in fairly rough condition from decades of poor basement storage. There is pitting and wear to the finish.
I plugged this is and the light does work. The motor hums like it wants to run, but it does not turn.
