Vintage cast iron fare box, probably for buses, made by "Johnson Fare Box Co." - NY & Chicago - Serial No. 70318 - last patent date May 1914 - also with plaque attached marked "No. 252". Use wear to original black paint, small dent in one of the columns that holds the upper glass in place, has not been tested and overall fair to good condition. Measures 19 1/2"H x 9"W x 10 1/2"D.
