Two Queen Ann country side chairs, late 18th century. The first in cherry, with a newer rush seat, baluster type front legs with original button feet connected by a turned stretcher - old probably original finish with some surface abrasions, but overall good condition - 19 1/4"W x 17 1/4"D x 39 1/4"H x 17 1/2" seat height; the second in poplar wood with heart cutout in shaped splat, old probably original woven cane seat, turned front legs with bulbous cross stretcher - the legs have all been ended out, grungy surface, structurally sound - 20 1/4"W x 14"D x 39 3/8"H x 16" seat height.
