A Pair Of Beautiful Hand Painted Fancy Sheraton Style French Parlor Arm Chairs

A pair of beautiful hand painted fancy Sheraton style French parlor arm chairs with caned back and flame-stitched seats. The backs are hand painted with the crest rail decorated with a floral swag over the caned splat decorated with fan shaped ornaments in each corner The arms and finial with black pin-striping and the turned legs and stiles with black vertical stripes to give the illusion of each being fluted. The chairs measures 19 3/4"W x 20"D x 34 3/4"H x 19"H to top of seat. One chair with minor use wear to finish and no damage to caning or upholstery - the other chair with minor use wear to finish, no damage to upholstery, but having damaged caning which needs replacement. Circa 1890.
