Antique Double Signed 1862 Civil War Era Military Book. "Cavalry Regulations" for the Instruction, Formations and Movements of the Cavalry. 1862 Revision, Published in London, England.
Twice signed (unauthenticated) in 1864 by:
EDWARD HAIGHT, US Congressman 1861-1863, Banker, New York City. Pencil Signed Feb. 24, 1864.

M. J. Asch (Morris J. Asch), Civil War Hero, Surgeon, Battles of Chancellorsville, Mine Run, Gettysburg, The Wilderness, and Appomattox Court House. Later, famed New York City hospital Physician/Innovative Surgeon. Ink pen signed March 26th, 1864.
Latest owner acquired from an estate of a military veteran and militaria collector in Long Island, New York. See pictures for condition. Has all pages and boards are attached. Back Strip/Spine shows wear and clearly damaged as shown. Front ornate endpaper has detached but still present. Hinges show wear but are intact. No wormholes, page color is good. Book is Overall good/fair condition for its age, but we are not book sellers, graders, or experts.
