Rare Merklin Library Table With Long Center Drawer And Cast Brass Feet

Spiral Turned Mahogany Finished Cherry Merklin Library Table. Large top with rope gadrooned twist edge border, a single long drawer with ornate brass pulls, standing on large spiral turned and splayed legs, spiral turned stretchers and large cast brass figural lion head feet with turned wooden ball feet. The top has polished original surface, the base has an original finish with oxidized alligatoring, American, Late-19th c.
