Giclée painting on canvas. This is a beautifully executed giclée of Polo Action framed in custom white wood edge with sturdy rear support skeleton. This giclée series copied, from the family collection masterpieces of Jim's work, were made in 3 different sizes and in very limited numbers. Certainly copies after one of Mickelson's finer pieces.

Jim Mickelson was local Newburyport phenom/artist, who passed away several years ago. His pieces have always been prized by NE England collectors though his work was sold mostly locally in Newbury. He painted tugboats and sailboats, children playing around a maypole and sporting. Jim’s work has experienced a resurgence of interest and a corresponding increase in value of contemporary American art.
