Lot Of Ludlow Vermont Black River Academy Dish, Lannon's Restaurant Matches, Michael's Swizzle Stick

The Academy building was built in 1888 and used as the town high school until 1938 when a new building was completed. The 6" dish is marked Made in Germany for John Barrett. Mr. Barrett (1836-1925) served three years in the Civil War (1862-65), returned to Ludlow, and started his general store in 1866, retiring about 1911. He was beloved in the community in his time.
Lannon's Restaurant was run for years by Beatrice Lannon and her son Bill, perhaps from the 1940's or earlier to 60's or later.
Michael's appears to be a seafood and steak restaurant that was located where Sam's steakhouse is now, perhaps its predecessor.
