Pierre Dumont (1884-1936) was a French painter from Rouen. He created impassto'd landscapes in an Impressionist style. He settled in Montmartre in Paris although he never forgot his roots in Rouen and returned there regularly to paint.

This oil on canvas board depicting a landscape of leafy green trees with blue water and hills in a distance - perhaps in early autumn.

Some splitting and slight staining and abrasions to the surface.
In good condition.
