Item Description

Jack E. Orlosky, 81, of Albany, Georgia, passed away March 8, 2006.Orlosky was born Jan. 24, 1925 in Pueblo, CO. Orlosky was a graduate of Mesa State and the Colorado School of Fine Arts. He was well known in Glenwood and Aspen spending most of his time in Marble. He owned The Goldpan Marble Gallery in Marble for more than 30 years. Orlosky was an accomplished artist who specialized in pottery early in his career, later returning to sculpture. He focused on wildlife native to his beloved Colorado mountains.
