"Gyrk Gyrk" Poster by Polish artist Woldemar Swierzy. Poster #30 copyright by foreign trade enterprise, Warszowa, Poland. 29” w x 41” t. Waldemar Swierzy signed.

Swierzy learned his art at the University of Kracow under the incredible graphic artist and teacher Jozef Mroszczak, and painting professor Rafal Pomorski. Many of his designs have a distinct painterly style.
He loved painting portraits and his series of great jazz musicians were hugely popular and bought him international fame. He designed over 250 album sleeves, mainly for America.
