About the Sale
Welcome to the first ever Clearing House Estate Sale LEGO Auction! These pieces have been collected and used by a devoted Lego Fan, but it's time to move and there just isn't room in the new ...view moreplace for the LEGOs! Most of this collection are retired by LEGO which makes many of them rare and hard to find, retirement status also increases the value of each item. Each set was constructed and saved in place for display by our young collector, as the years went by his parents' basement became "floor to ceiling" Lego, their very own Lego museum, really. To facilitate the sale, we organized items and photographed groupings as "Lots", once photographed the sets were broken apart and put in bags for storage and transportation. Each "Lot" contains the pieces photographed for that "Lot", the photos are the description. This does not mean that the exact pieces that were in the original Lego Box are in the "Lot". We also include stock images of the original boxes, these are for reference only, the lots do not include everything in the stock photos. We tried to keep groupings within themes, to make sets complete, and to include the building instructions when available, we apologize to the Purists who will find fault in our methods. Each "Lot" is sold as is. There are many websites and blogs to use for researching the world of Lego, we like www.brickeconomy.com . In addition you will find Kinex, Hess Trucks, Mario, A Sonic Comic collection and more.
