This crocodile creature is a sword scabbard used in ceremonies by priests of the upper echelons of Yoruba tribe society. Beads, seeds and shells from that area of Nigeria are used to meticulously decorate fabric.Beautiful fabric embellished with colorful seed beads and shells.
