Item Description

"Whistler - Masterpieces In Colour" by T. Martin Wood - Illustrated with 8 reproduction color plates of Whistler's paintings, descriptions, and story about Whistler. An Antiquarian Book Purchased in London, England, in the Hunter & Longhurst, the Cathedral Bookstore, at 58 & 59 Paternoster Row, London, E.C., on July 31, 1911. HC . 94 pages. Edited by T. Leman Hare. One of 40+ "Masterpieces in Colour" series. Still in the book is the original Bookstore advertising piece- bookmark with a photograph of its exterior sign and the large St. Paul's Cathedral it was up the street from! This is one of the most famous sites in London and was the site on 29 July 1981, of the wedding of Prince Charles and Princess Diana.

Notes: The covers have weak corners and wear. The color plates are fine.
