The hose is free of cracks and drying and the top can be fully unscrewed and dismantled allowing options to repurpose the piece to what ever your creative heart desires, from a lamp to umbrella container or hall tree base, to a container for odds and ends or large garden vase. ...or JUST WHAT it is as a beautiful example of a vintage copper display Fire Extinguisher! This Vintage Copper Fire Extinguisher With Rubber Hose is a great addition to any collection or buy to resell at your antique shop, you will not find one in this condition for a very long time. There Are Some Dings & Dents And All original Copper / Brass Patina. Fire Extinguishers of this Era Were Manufactured From 1910's - 1930's. Made By "The General Fire Truck Corp. In Los Angeles, Detroit Or New York.
Fire Extinguisher of this age are not deemed Safe for fire safety use and should only be used for decorative or collections purposes.
