Vintage Italian Murano Barovier + Toso Glass Geode Bowl
This elegant piece employs advanced glass blowing techniques; sommerso, controlled bubbles, & gold bullicante.
There are layers of color, it is beautifully executed.
The outer layer us clear glass, then the next layer is white
The interior layer combines gold with controlled bubbles to create an amazing play of color and light, to os almost like snake skin or fish scales.
The bowl measures 7" x 2.5"
It is in perfect condition.
This piece came from an estate in South Palm Beach. The apartment was designed in the '80s and featured in Architectural Digest.
