Vintage Hand Made, Hand Painted Book Shaped Wooden Bookends
Design features Buttery spine color with Turquoise "Cover" Front and back.
A floral design with Roses, Lily of the Valley, & Forget-Me-Nots is hand painted with a gold cartouche.
The books have a metal flat base so they stand.
They both have some chipping, but it is not distracting.
The pair is really beautiful.
They stand 7 1/2" tall, 5" across and 1 1/4" deep.
If I were to guess, I would date them from the 40s or 50s.
