Item Description

The madeira pattern was produced from 1967 - 1983. Franciscan ware or franciscan pottery was produced in Glendale, CA. Beginning in 1934 by Frederic and Mary Grant creating a new wave of style in American art pottery. The Grants sold off in the entirety to wedgewood in 1979 including all patterns. Set contains one large oval serving platter (13 1/2 x 11 1/2) , 8 dinner plates (10 1/2 inch diameter), 8 salad plates (8 1/2 inch diameter), and 8 bread and butter plates (5 3/4 inch diameter) for a total of 33 pieces. This set is in "new" condition and is free of any chips and scratches. There is not even evidence of knife marks. They are flawless.
