Vintage Florentina Florence, Italy Hand Made, Tooled, Painted & Gilt Stamp Box
Traditional Florentine technique of making a decorative box.
Wood Box is cut and made into the desired size and shape, then covered with gesso.
After gesso dries, the box is hand painted, gilt, & tooled.
Gilt gold interior
Four spaces for different stamp denominations.
This piece is in very good condition.
A little gold has flaked off one corner.
The original paper sticker is on the bottom.

Made in Florence, Italy.
Box measures 5.75" x 2.5" x 2"
