Item Description

This is a beautiful Chinese embroidery piece done in goldwork. The shape is reminiscent of a moth or butterfly and features pastel pink and blue flowers within it. The embroidered work is suspended between two pieces of glass and housed in a gold tone bamboo style frame with brass Chinese style hangers. The frame has dirt and a "chippiness" to it that gives it an aged look. Back of frame is marked 17 June 1988 - probably the date it was framed.

Notes: Light dirt from age. Frame has a few chips to it.
