Item Description

Beautiful vintage spongeware mixing bowl. Purchased in 1969 in a Ghost Town - it was in the kitchen of an abandoned building, sitting on a shelf in the kitchen from the Gold Mining days outside Fairbanks, Alaska. They walked across the tundra to get back and forth. They went back in the winter for a bed and used their snowmobile to haul that out!
10 1/2" diameter x 5 1/2" tall. Yes it has lots of cracks visible on the inside and the bottom- but none on the colorful outer sides with the beautiful spongeware. There is one chip on outer rim edge. ( see photos please).
