Item Description

Vintage/antique framed lithograph - Making Sailors: Youthful Ambition, 1917, by Welsh artist Frank Brangwyn (1867-1956), pencil signed.

Frame measures 16” x 20”
Art measures 14 1/2” x 18 1/2”

Brangwyn did this series of lithos to promote interest in joining the war effort during World War I.

Notes: Frame has wear and chipping, glass is good, print looks clean, backing is undamaged.
