VINTAGE 1970'S LOUIS VUITTON MONOGRAM GARMENT BAG

This Gorgeous discontinued garment bag is considered a collector's item, and considering it is half a century old, it is in excellent condition. It was manufactured in the USA by the French Co.. Every single detail of this piece is perfectly intact and pristine. This suitcase has so many gorgeous details it is difficult to part with; it is a true collector’s item. The stitching is beautiful, the brass Talon zippers and leather closures and snaps are in excellent condition, even the keys hang from the original LV ribbon behind the original brass built-in hangers. The interior still has the original paper tag in the shoe compartment stitched into the brown lining. The leather detail has a beautiful dark brown patina. The case opens to one small pochette bag that is removable for miscellaneous items, and there are two separate Tucky closures securing the zippers. No need to open the entire bag to grab just one item, you can store items at the bottom of the bag or protect the bottoms of garments and keep the top rolled up and secured with a built-in leather strap. It acts like a mobile wardrobe when hung. Open the bottom zipper and you’ll find yet another pochette for more separates to help keep you organized. The certificate of authentication is very apparent along the back below the hangers. It is rare to find a piece over 50 years old in such incredible condition. All of the original parts and accessories are in-tact.
