Vintage 1964-1965 PYREX Black & Brown TERRA #474 Round Covered Cinderella Casserole
Casserole holds 2.5 quarts - it is the largest of the 3 sizes they made.
This design was only sold in 1964-1965.
Matte Black with Brown bands and brown concentric circles on the lid.
Casserole measures 9" x 4.5" x 11.5" from handle to handle.
This piece is in very good condition.
It has no chips or cracks and only the slightest loss of paint at the corners of the lid.
It does show signs of use and could use some elbow grease and a good cleaning.
NOTE: IT was never shiny.
Clearly marked on the bottom PYRES, made in USA, the model #474 and capacity.
Made in Corning, NY - USA.
