$22.00
Item #1013153
Lot #91 of 161
Item Description

Three Vintage Tribal Musical Instruments in good original condition. The slim Drum is from New Guinea and is an unfinished Wood Finger Drum with Decorative Incising, Handle and Lizard Skin membrane, the Bone (Deer?) Rasp has a nice hand-polish, old glass and brass beads, serrated cuts on one side to create percussive sound when stroked with a stick or bone, and bone end pieces that act like a rattle when the piece is shaken. The African Gazelle Skin Hand Drum has a bead or stone inside that can be used to sound the drum. There is a break in the sinew that does not detract.
The Finger Drum is 10.25” high, the Bone Rasp is 6” long and the African Drum is 6” high.
