Jerusalem Stone by Salvador Dali, Also known as The Wailing Wall is a Bronze tribute sculpture to one of the holiest religious sites in all the world. It is one of the last remnants of the First and Second Temples of Solomon, which were built over three thousand years ago as houses of worship and to honor God’s greatness. This particular segment of the remaining wall, under the Temple Mount, was built over 2,000 years ago by Herod the Great. King Solomon, son of King David, invited people of all faiths to worship there. Muslims revere this place as the site where Mohammed ascended to Heaven, and Jesus referred to the Temple as His Father’s house. This magnificent sculpture is approximately 14 tall by 11.5 in wide and is mounted on a slab of Jerusalem stone etched in both English and Hebrew. Salvador Dali’s name appears in the lower left hand corner of this rare, beautiful, and unique sculpture. In good condition with minor wear.
