Item Description

A large size cartoon showcasing a scene from "The Amorous Flea" with a framed newspaper clipping, both from 1964. The clipping announces the opening of the play at the Washington Theater Club and is dated Nov. 1, 1964. It bears the image of the cartoon. The actual drawing is signed and dated "Gregory '64". This is probably the work of cartoonist Gene Gregory.

Notes: Some wear and scratching to the black finish of the frame. The newspaper has yellowed with age.

Consistent with age and use.
