Skandia Furniture Co. Antique Mahogany Slant Front Secretary

Antique secretary with upper bookcase, most likely walnut, manufactured by Skandia Furniture Co. Rockford, IL. , with viking ship logo inside drawer. This piece has a fold down writing table with slide out supports. Inside is one pull out drawer with six cubbyhole slots.
Skandia furniture was located in Rockfrord, IL from 1889-1941 and was known for making quality items. Many Swedish immigrant wood workers worked for Skandia after arriving in the Unites States. Skandia was the largest furniture manufacturer in Rockford, IL at one time.
One solid piece. Includes original key.
