Numbered 8 out of 99, this is a colored restrike engraving by plate engraver, William Giller (1805-1868). A giclee of a collaborative painting by brothers and listed artists WIlliam and Henry Barraud (1810-1850 and 1811-1874), this work depicts a group of well-dressed figures, with dogs and horses, gathered at the Duke of Beaufort’s Badminton House go on a fox hunt. This work is marked at the bottom right, “Painted by William & Henry Barraud” and “Engraved by William Giller" at the bottom left margin of the print. The print is presented under glass with a French mat, framed in dark brown and gold. Back side has a hanging hardware.
