Antique Japanese possibly Meiji Period Ivory Figural Group. Go players, c.1890. The figural group depicts two elder Japanese gentlemen engaged in the game of Go and one observer. Each figure is finely carved and in black robe. Each player having a container of Go stones and the game board located to the center. Each figure can be removed from the plinth.
