Rare Authentic Papua Irian Jaya In Indonesia Sculpted Tribal Drum With Ethnic Figurines 22"H X 12"W

This is work of art instrument sculpted from a solid piece of wood. This is handmade drum features an elaborately embellished handle with intertwined male figurines holding up its frame. Its snake skin drumhead is stretched over the trunk secured by a bamboo band. This is a one of a kind ethnic drum that can be played by the player's hands or with a percussion mallet to produce a unique sound. This would be any collector's pride and joy. This very old and beautiful drum comes from the remote Eastern Mimika area of the South Coast of West Papua Irian Jaya in Indonesia.
