Rare 1996 SAAB 9000 CE Turbo - One Elderly Owner - Runs & Drives Great - All Original - GREAT CAR !

Thank You for looking at our latest offering here on Clearing House . . . this is a RARE find. . .this is a 1996 Saab 9000 CE Turbo . . .this is a one owner vehicle from an estate in Old Greenwich, Connecticut . . . .CLEARLY this car has been always garaged . . . the keyword here is ORIGINAL. . . . as far as I can see everything is original on this car . . .the paint looks all original . . .the interior looks all original . . . it has never been in an accident (which is warranted by the CarFax report) . . . . (see photo) It looks runs and drives GREAT . . .it is black with light tan leather interior . . .the interior shows minor wear here and there . . .this car is VERY fast it was built to compete with the offerings from BMW, Mercedes, Jaguar and Audi.

It is remarkable how well this vehicle drives it has power steering - power brakes -sunroof - heated leather seats (which both work) ICE COLD air conditioning ALL POWER AND LUXURY FEATURES YOU WOULD EXPECT . . .I have all of the original owners manuals and booklets in its original leather case . . . I have two original SAAB keys with one keyfob . . . I even have the original purchase paperwork from 1996 . . .this vehicle was over $30,000 (23 years ago). . . . .OVERALL THIS IS A GREAT CAR . . .for every hundred SAAB 900's you see you MIGHT see one SAAB 9000 . . . .THEY ARE RARE . . . .THIS WAS A SPORTS SEDAN . .LIKE A BMW OR MERCEDES . .

The Saab 9000 was produced from 1984 to 1998. representing the company's foray into the executive car scene, it was developed as a result of the successes of the turbocharged 99 and 900 models . . .the 9000 remained in production until it was replaced by the Saab 9-5 in late 1997, although some final cars were produced into 1998 . . .Saab designed the 9000 as part of the "Type Four" platform in conjunction with the Italian automaker Fiat Automobiles. Fiat retailed similar derivative versions as the more basic Fiat Croma, the luxury-themed Lancia Thema . . .and the sports-oriented Alfa Romeo 164. . . .despite being shorter overall than the 900, the 9000 had a longer wheelbase and greater interior space, and was the first Saab vehicle imported to the United States to be classed as a "large car" by the EPA . . .

THIS CAR IS IN VERY NICE CONDITION. . . . . but obviously this car is not perfect. . . .it has minor flaws . . . .keeping in mind this car is nearly 25 years old. . . .its in WAY ABOVE AVERAGE condition . . . . SHOWS VERY WELL. . . .I GET COMMENTS / COMPLIMENTS EVERY TIME I TAKE IT OUT. . . .



the motor runs great and at the proper temperature . . .the transmission shifts fine . . . .this car is in GREAT . .ABOVE AVERAGE condition . . . . you will find "age appropriate" wear. . . .like any car this age you will find MINOR dings, dents, scrapes, rust, wear & flaws. . .im sure there are a couple features that dont work . .I did the best I could with my condition report. . . . BUT NOTHING GLARING . . . NOTHING MAJOR

IT PRESENTS VERY WELL . . .ABSOLUTELY DOES NOT LOOK ITS AGE

THIS IS A VERY RARE FIND IN THIS CONDITION. . . .be sure you view the 60+ photographs . . . the appeal of this vehicle is its "rarity factor". . . . appeal is broad and it would really fit in with so many different drivers . . .the only thing I would say it "needs" are things like a little piece of trim is lacking . . . a missing a lens of an interior light . . . the switch for the hazard lights . . . the blades from the HEADLIGHT wiper blades . . .NONE OF THESE THINGS REALLY MATTER, its little "nickle & dime" items. . .if you were to spend a couple hours on eBay you could find everything you need . . . .(for VERY little money) . . . .a very good friend of ours is a retired Saab Master Mechanic . . he indicated they are VERY good cars . . .and that parts are readily available (eBay and MANY other sites) and they are fairly easy to work on. . . .GOOD LUCK BIDDING - WE ARE FLEXIBLE ON PICKUP TIME ! ! ! !
