“Foege's work includes landscapes, still life and portraits, depicted in a cross between representation and abstraction. She began painting as a child at the Brooklyn Museum, where Moses Soyer was her instructor. She continued her studies at the Pratt Institute, New York University, Hunter College, City College of New York, the Art Students’ League, Silvermine, and the Rye Art Center. She studied oil painting in Paris for two years and exhibited at the Salon des Independents in the Grand Palais.”
