Elizabeth “Beth” Moffitt was head of the Art Department at the University of New Haven where she taught painting from 1961 to 1994. Her color field paintings are included in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art, the Guggenheim Museum of Art, Cornell University, and the University of New Haven.
