Are you ready to own "The Ultimate Driving Machine" . . .
Here is your chance . .you are looking at a FANTASTIC 2001 BMW X5 . . .this SUV features the much more rare 4.4L V8 engine . . . most X5s use the BMW 3.0L six cylinder engine. . .I personally have owned both . . . im my opinion the six cylinder is a little under powered . . .the robust 4.4L V8 feels AMAZING in this surefooted SUV
THIS 2001 X5 is in WAY above average condition . . .the interior I would say is 9-1/2 out of 10 . . .the (subtle two-tone) leather is LIKE NEW . . .the carpets are in amazing condition . . . even the factory BMW carpet mats (WHICH ARE USUALLY SHOT WITHIN TWO YEARS) look amazing . . .its really hard to believe . . .it runs are drives great . . .tons of power . .transmission shifts smooth as silk . . . really don't see any issues . . .appearance wise I would call this X5 a 9 out of 10 . . . . OVERALL IT SHOWS VERY LITTLE WEAR. . . .the paint is great. . .the leather & wood trim is also super nice and clean . . .its pretty remarkable
it REALLY drives GREAT . . . . .brakes feel fine as well . . .motor runs perfectly smooth . . starts quickly and idles fine and at the proper temperature. . . .take a look at the dashboard cluster NO check engine or warning lights. . . CLEARLY ALWAYS GARAGED . . the xenon headlights work fine (were probably replaced) they come on instantly and are nice and bright . . .the dash top is completely free of cracks and the headlight lenses are not yellowed (that indicates it was always garaged) . . .another thing to mention that most older cars have issues with plastic interior items breaking or cracking . . .EVERYTHING is good in this one. . .folding cup holder (these always break). . .the sliding cubby cover (always breaks) . . .another big BMW flaw . .the paint wears off all the buttons. . .again not on this one. . . .all look new. . .headliner is excellent. . . .its like the interior shows almost NO WEAR. . . . . this X5 comes with three factory "multi function" keys WHICH ALL WORK ! . .usually these stop working after a couple years . . . its these little details that suggest that this is a well cared for vehicle . . .this is a two owner vehicle with only 109k original miles V8 . . .automatic and it has AWD (All Wheel Drive) this X5 has never been smoked in (lighter and ashtray never used) this interior of this X5 has the aroma of BMW nappa leather . . . . .no kids . . . no pets . . . no drinks / food. . . the interior is NEAR MINT I would say . . . . .the car is very comfortable to drive . . . . and the performance is quite nice as well . . . .
I have always been a big fan of the X5 . . . .I have owned several . . .if I was in the market for one. . .I'D DEFINITELY TAKE THIS ONE . . .my dad has a BMW X3 . . . with over 220k miles on it . . .it seems like it will go forever . . . THEY ARE GREAT CARS !

clearly it has always been garaged, the undercarriage is very clean, plenty of power, drives very smooth . . .well optioned vehicle. . . . .I HAVE SEVERAL SOURCES FOR VERY VERY (thats TWO verys) INEXPENSIVE PARTS (both new and used) . . . there are a couple minor things to point out. . . .once in a while the "self leveling inactive" message pops up. . .9/10 chance its just a sensor (very common). . .all self leveling does is raise the back end if you put a lot of weight in the back . . . its not a big deal . . .my X5 was like that for 3 years . . .its nothing . . .
overall I am so impressed with this beautiful vehicle and I think you will be as well. . .people have commented that they cannot believe its a 2001 . . . please keep in mind this car is not brand new . . . its an older used car with over 100k . . .although this X5 is in EXCEPTIONAL condition . . . you may find dings, dents, scrapes, flaws, scratches, minor leaks, drips, drops, chips & touch up paint here and there there as well as other flaws & imperfections . . . .again . .all minor
as usual I had our tech give it a quick once over. . .the only thing he mentioned was there is a minor suspension sound noise from the back (when you hit a good bump) - he felt it was not worth addressing. . . . .he checked all the belts & hoses all look fine . .he noted ALL the fluids are amazingly clean and clear . . . . .
